Prologue for a volcano

I was commissioned to compose a song for ‘Prologue’ a sculpture made by Raquel Quevedo for the collective exhibition “Tribute to Etel Adnan” at the L&B Gallery during the Barcelona Design Week and curated by Guendalina Perelli.

In the installation, the song comes from inside the volcano and crosses the space in an endless and enveloping loop.

These new virtual and collective memories, were the starting point for the composition of the song, and were recorded with the artist’s voice, Lolo & Sosaku’s, and my own. The final song was mastering by Unai Lezcano.
